When I hear the word party, the first thing I do is check my roots. That’s right, my hair. How much of the gray is showing? More times than not, it’s more than I like. The next step is to call my magic working stylist and best friend, Michelle. In a matter of 11/2 hours, I am back to being a “natural” blonde. Nothing makes you feel better than having your hair did on the day of the event. Treat yourself ladies! You deserve it.
Now when it comes to selecting my outfit for a holiday party, I want to stand out. I want all eyes on me for all the right reasons. One way to do that is to wear something unexpected. I know most everyone at every Christmas party I have ever been to has worn black with either red or green. Some even got adventurous and donned silver and gold. Not this girl!! I chose a jumpsuit with a beautiful floral print. The palazzo cut pants make you look to be floating across the floor as you make your way around the room being the absolute life of the party. An added bonus is that you look just as good going as coming, thanks to the sexy open back. Free People is where I scored this beauty. I paired it with 4” block heeled Candie’s sandals from Kohl’s. The bold beaded necklace is hand strung by a Ukranian Lady I found on Etsy. It was $7 plus $6 for shipping! You can’t beat that price with a stick. I’m just loving my sweet faux fur clutch from Target. It’s a great bargain as well and just the right size for all your party essentials.
Thanks for partying with us this week!! If you’re in the Charlotte area and need your party hair did, please check out my friend Michelle. She’s a master stylist and colorist. Don’t forget to check back in with us on Monday! Have a great weekend!!
