Merry Christmas Ho Ho Ho! Well, in perusing my closet it suddenly appeared to me that I do not own one holiday sweater. What?!?! Sad, but true. No cute sweaters with clever sayings for me. Lol! So, what do you do when you don’t own a holiday sweater???? You improvise!! So, I took my gray/silver top from TJ Maxx (similar top here) and added a very festive Mr. T-ish style necklace (similar necklace here) that I picked up at Moon & Lola in downtown Apex. I paired it with some jeans and some cute Lucky peep toe booties. Add a festive hat or some funky glasses, and you’re ready to get this holiday started!
Now this is where I was supposed to introduce you to my family (my husband) & tell you how great he is & how much we adore each other but, unfortunately my poor hubby is feeling no bueno due to some pesky kidney stones. If you’ve ever had them you know they are no joke. So, since he couldn’t join in on the fun, I’ve included an adorable picture of us from last Christmas. You’re welcome.
I am also the proud owner of a morbidly obese incredibly lazy tabby cat named Tiger aka Boo Boo. Tiger is a reformed feral cat who at first wouldn’t come anywhere near us. We had to put her food down & walk away before she would even eat. However, with a whole lot of time and patience we won her over. Now she’s living the life! Most of the time you will find her laid up in her favorite chair or racing me up the stairs to her food bowl. And best of all, she doesn’t scratch my furniture. I think she’s just too lazy. My kind of cat!
I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays from my family to yours!! Thanks to all of you who have supported our little blog. May you have health, wealth & happiness in the new year! Time to party!! Don’t forget to stop back by next week!!!
