Shoes, Shoes, Shoes!!!

Blouse// Jeans// Frye Boots

So this week each of us Nettes will be featuring some of our favorite accessories. Now as I’ve gotten “more mature”, my use of accessories has gotten more limited. I remember back in the 80s having huge earrings and matching bracelets to go with every outfit. Now I typically wear the same gold or silver hoops, a big watch and a favorite bracelet or two. So, needless to say, I wasn’t the Nette chosen to feature jewelry. So shoes it is!!! I’ve picked out a few of my absolute favorites including boots, athletic shoes, flats and heels.

First up are my new Frye boots. I’ve featured these before on our Instagram. They are rich in color and have a definite Cowboy feel to them. I love the height of the shaft (ha! I said shaft again!) and the heel. I got these bad boys on major Sale and am so glad I pulled the trigger on them. You just can’t go wrong with Frye!!

Sweater// Jeans// Adidas//Watch

Next up are my absolute favorite pair of Adidas sneakers. I can’t believe I hesitated in spending $65 on these. They have been worth every penny. They are so comfortable and versatile. They are suede, so they aren’t great in the rain, but other than that, they are my go to comfy shoes. They work with jeans, khakis and shorts. I’ve even worn them with a bodycon dress. I’ve had this pair for several years, and they are still going strong.

Denim shirt// Pants// Similar Shoes

Now for these calf hair, pointy toe, visions of loveliness!!! I’ve always called them leopard print, but I’m not actually sure that’s correct (Wait, am I saying I may be wrong?? That can’t be right! Lol). These are hands down my all time favorite flats! I can put them on with just about anything, and I automatically feel cool and classy. I almost cried tears of pure joy when I found these in my ever elusive size 5.5!!! Again, I’ve had these for several years, and this exact pair is no longer available. Similar pairs can be found here, here and here.

Little Black Dress// Pumps

Last up are these badass Sam Edelman leopard print (Yes these are definitely leopard print) heels. As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, I have always longed to be one of those chicks that could strut along in my mile high stilettos with ease. No such luck. This heel height is about as high as I can manage without having them physically strapped to my feet. Even this height is questionable if I’ve had more than two drinks. I love the leather touches at the back of the shoe, as well as on the heel. These add a bit of sexy to any outfit, be it your LBD or your HOTTT skinny jeans. Mmmm mmmm mmmm that’s good stuff right there!!!

Thanks for letting me share a few of my faves with you today!! Come back Wednesday and see what Anjanette has in store.
