Whew, it is getting legit cold out. You know what? I kind of love it. Call me crazy, but I think that it should actually feel like winter when it’s January and February. If it’s never cold then we won’t appreciate the warm weather when it arrives in April or May. These are the cozy months when you get to wrap yourself up in sweaters, coats, scarves and hats. Oh, and don’t forget the boots!
My youngest son Nathan slept over with a couple of his buddies Saturday Night. So, I got an unexpected date night with my guy. What did I wear? I love nothing more than a thin knit sweater. It keeps me comfortable while indoors and also fits easily under a coat when I head out into the cold. I love the eggplant color and shirttail hem of this H&M pullover. The exposed gold zipper in the back gives it a little extra something. I wore my sweater over a white button down blouse along with my black leggings. To be honest, I built my entire outfit around my oxblood color leopard print Hunter Boots. I just love the contrasting stripe down the back of the boot. The best part is they were half-price! To top off the look (literally) I wore my badass brown Panama Hat. I am ready for a night of Mexican Food, Dos Equis, and some excellent tequila.
Thanks to that extra cold Dos Equis and delicious tequila, Sunday was a bit rough. I am not as young as I used to be. Ugghhh!!! I won’t be doing that again for a while. It seems alcohol is NOT a part of a healthy diet. Who knew? Yeah, pretty much everyone. Lol. I would like to wish all the people in my life good luck for the next couple of months or so. Me with very little sugar, caffeine and alcohol is a bit scary. I apologize in advance.
