What’s New?

Well it’s March and January is nothing but a distant memory, just like all those resolutions. You remember, “I’m not gonna eat anymore carbs.” “I’m not buying anything new for at least 6 months.” “I’m gonna payoff all my credit cards.” Oh I had such high hopes. Oh Lord I had such good intentions.

To toot my own horn, I did go a whole five weeks without buying anything for myself. That’s a Nette record people! I have fallen a bit off that wagon though. Just a weee little bit. But I did it for y’all. I mean I can’t keep sharing old raggedy clothes on the blog. Lol! So here’s a few of the things I bought just to share with y’all!

Denim Top// Pants// Boots// Earrings

First up are these super cool wide legged red slacks!!! Oh how I totally dig a pair of wide legged pants!! I have been looking for a red pair for the longest time. I happened upon these at Banana Republic and knew I had to snap them up! I sure wish I had found them before Valentine’s Day, but c’est la vie. These pants are high waisted, which definitely helps my legs look longer. The fabric is silky and really hangs well.

When I see red, I automatically think of denim/chambray. This denim top isn’t new, but it’s definitely a favorite. And even though I ordered these pants in a short length, they still require heels, so I added my pointy toe dress boots. My beautiful earrings are new, but I didn’t buy them. They were a gift from my dear friend Carla. So there!

Dress// Boots// Earrings

OMG this dress!!!! I cannot say enough good things about this little number!!! I shared this last week on my “Spring Wish List”. I found this on major Sale on the Banana Republic site, and again, knew I had to have it! The cut is beyond flattering, and the fabric is nice and thick with a bit of stretch. That thicker fabric does a great job of holding my jiggly parts in place!

Now this dress was styled completely differently (that sounds weird) on the Banana site. They actually styled it casually with cute little sneakers, and that’s exactly how I planned on wearing it. Unfortunately I’m not 5’10” like the model online. I’m still trying to decide if I want to have this hemmed to wear casually, or if I want to keep it this length and wear it as a midi. I am loving it at this length with my kickass pointy toe boots.

So to hem or not to hem?? What do y’all think? Either way, this dress is a total winner!!!

Aren’t you glad I went shopping for y’all? You’re welcome! I think Anjanette May have done a little shopping as well. I know SHOCKER! Come back Wednesday to see “What’s New”!
